Sometimes, even though you know what real Chinese food is, and even though you know that Panda Express isn't, you still have a weird craving for something fried and then smothered in a reddish sauce. Unfortunately, they don't serve that at real Chinese restaurants so you need to hit up a place like Panda Express or Pei Wei.

I got the hankering for some Beijing Beef from Panda Express, so I got the Panda Bowl, which is one entree over their fried rice or lo mein. It's exactly what I was expecting, over-sauced, salty, and the fried rice was dry. Even so, it was on par with my expectations. Weird how you want some random food sometime. Maybe I'm preggers.
